In business-to-business complex selling, marketing and sales function are extremely close. Salesmen are not only the ones that directly implement the marketing decisions, but they have (at least they should have) an active and important role in providing their company with market feedback and in contribution to the definition of marketing strategy and actions. It thus becomes crucial that the salesperson has a clear and global view of his company’s marketing strategy.
